    Strategic Sales Development Representative

As our Strategic Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will work with our President and sales team to drive interest from prospective customers while supporting investigations that will make a significant impact in your own community and throughout the region. 

    This is a unique SDR role in that you will be the first full-time SDR hire and get to shape the foundation and framework for the SDR team at a fast-growing company.  Also, you will work closely with the President who has built multiple world-class SDR teams so you will get the support, structure, and learning to be successful.

    What You Get To Do:

    • Learn the challenges facing law enforcement, then present innovative technology solutions that save them time and money
    • Prospect new leads through a combination of research, referrals, conferences and networking
    • Contact new police departments each day via email and phone and mailers to book demos
    • Execute on marketing campaigns from researching ideal clients, building lists, and mailing materials
    • Building territory reports and target accounts based on Salesforce and internal data

    Who You Are:

    • You are goal-oriented and scrappy with a track record of success
    • You have strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • You can handle rejection and can handle both complex and repetitive tasks
    • You have great empathy for customers, customer service skills, and high emotional intelligence
    • You have exceptional time management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills
    • You are fluent in Google Suite, CRM (Salesforce), LinkedIn, & MS Office Suite and love learning new software to be more efficient
    • Experience or interest with law enforcement is a huge plus
    • Experience or interest with software technology sales (SAAS) is a huge plus
    • Role is based in St. Petersburg, FL (but also will consider applications based in Washington, DC)
