    Molekule is seeking an experienced Site Manufacturing Lead to manage our fabric coating operation during the second shift (1:30pm - 10pm).

    Responsibilities:

      • Leading a team of operators, maintenance and QC specialist to enable efficient site operation; and enabling their career growth opportunities.
      • Accountable for a multi-shift fabric coating operation, including:
      • Setting up and running the fabric finishing process development line with team of line operators and QC specialist.
      • Overseeing and managing raw and finished materials inventory for the operation.
      • Safe operation of discharge water treatment to meet local permissible limits.
      • Monitoring and approving modification of machine running parameter to ensure quality and safety.
      • Coordination of machine maintenance and upgrade needs via internal and external resources.
      • Administrative responsibilities (permits, resource management, safety compliance, upgrades, utility bills, cleanliness etc.) for manufacturing site; including direct reports.
      • Protecting IP on materials, processes and QC methodologies.
      • Coordination new product transition to manufacturing from R&D.
      • Coordination of logistics with the operations team at the HQ.
      • Maintain clear communications with the broader site team on machine performance and daily runs.
      • Lead documentation of machine runs to ensure accuracy, quality and traceability of materials.
      • Compliance to all SOPs, work instructions and safety standards at all times. This includes all staff using and wearing protective gear, such as steel-toe boots, face mask, safety glasses, etc.

    Required Qualifications:

      • Ability to work second shift (1:30pm - 10:00pm).
      • B.S. degree in engineering discipline or equivalent years of relevant experience
      • Mechanical skills to run industrial machines.
      • Chemistry knowledge to be able to lead quality control function.
      • Communication skills – good verbal and written communication skills to enable efficient operation of the machine and site tasks.
      • Computer skills for data logging and monitoring.

    Pluses:

      • Roll to roll materials processing experience in paper, textile or plastic film operation.
      • Problem solver and high energy aptitude.
      • OSHA and any other safety training.
